With over 460 colleges affiliated to it, the Uttar Pradesh Technical University is the largest technical university in Asia. No wonder, there are about 5 lac people associated with it. When we started off, we could just not stop thinking about this.

That’s when we conceptualised a portal that would leverage the power of web2.0 to virtually connect everyone associated with the University. Bang! Uptuplus.com is what we came up with. It is in fact the first portal to be launched by our company EP Infoways Pvt. Ltd., a venture started by ex-IITians and budding entrepreneurs. Social Networking is the buzzword today and it has created a number of opportunities for entrepreneurship. Seldom do we get to know about what is happening at the university, because of our preoccupation with our own colleges. The University News section is meant to apprise every one of the activities happening in the university.
